Last Minute Escape Rooms is a portal for last-minute escape room bookings in Switzerland. Providers list their available slots at short notice, and customers book with less than 24 hours’ notice. This requires automated coordination of payment, the game master and the room.

Split View on any device
Anyone looking for an escape room wants to see it on the map whilst scrolling through the list at the same time. The map must also support various click and navigation interactions. Implementing this split-screen view on both desktop and mobile devices was the project’s biggest technical challenge.
SMS reminders and custom landing pages
Game masters receive a text message reminder about their session, whilst customers receive a reminder about their booking. Each escape room has its own landing page featuring an overview of the game and specific search engine optimisation.

Software beyond code
Compared with existing portals, LME allows bookings to be made with less than 24 hours’ notice. Payment processing, game master allocation and venue booking are all fully automated.
