One11 is based on the idea of a digital neighbourhood support network that connects people in their immediate local area. The platform brings together a marketplace for job opportunities, accommodation and everyday services, and complements this offering with an innovative time-swapping concept. Looking back, she says that her first phone call with Renuo was a lively one.

The platform brings together elements that have never before been combined in this way: a property booking service like AirBnb, a local marketplace like Tutti, and a time-swap scheme as a completely new format. Anyone offering their skills can be paid in time rather than money.
Design Sprints
In 2018, we kicked off with a design sprint. We visualised ideas, scrutinised workflows and built a clickable prototype. The development process presented technical challenges: different pricing models, online and offline payments, roles for renters, etc. And yes, even the SVA took an interest in time-sharing – keyword: income subject to social security contributions.
In addition to the high level of professionalism and the ability to immediately understand and cross-link complex contexts, we also appreciate the uncomplicated, likeable and humorous manner that makes the partnership with Renuo unique in our eyes.

Software beyond code
Renuo acted as a technical sparring partner for one11 throughout the entire project. This extensive project clearly demonstrated that software alone is not enough: the implementation required numerous workshops, brainstorming sessions and architectural considerations. Thanks to a careful choice of technologies (Ruby on Rails, React), it was also possible to develop a mobile app (React Native) straightforwardly on the existing infrastructure. Thoroughness paid off – once again.
